Lexi Crosen, a 16 year-old rising Junior, resides in Culpeper, Virginia.
Currently attending Eastern View High School, she also balances classes at the University of the District of Columbia Community College and her love of dance.
Since the age of 9, dance has played an important role in Lexi's life. More importantly, dance inspired Lexi to create 'Twinkle Toes' - a program designed for dancers with special needs. The art of dance provides an opportunity for students to learn important life skills & to express themselves in a non-judgemental environment. Lexi has been sharing 'Twinkle Toes' with her community, schools & special needs groups for over 5 years.
In 2014, Lexi was severely injured while dancing competitively. While she will never wear pointe shoes again, her year of physical therapy inspired her passion to study Kinesiology in college. Her goal is to work directly with professional athletes in hopes of preventing career ending injuries.
Lexi is an only child so if she's not at school or dance, you can find her at the gym, working on one of her many pieces of art or catching the latest scary movie.
