Lola Loraine Giroux, from Lexington, Kentucky, is the daughter of Julian and Victoria Giroux. She is a USGA member and on a Level 2 gymnastics team with her local gym. She takes jazz, tap, and ballet classes and recently got to perform with her dance company at the Lexington Opera House where she often sees plays and musicals with her grandmother. She loves to sing and perform and received 1st runner-up in talent at Internationals with a vocal performance to “Get Back Up Again” from Trolls.
Her favorite things to do in her free time is painting, crafting, and making jewelry.
Lola is always ready to tell you a new joke and loves to pull pranks on her dad. Lola is quick to make friends and loves playing with kids of all ages. She has one younger sister named Cher who she says is her best friend.
Lola loves being on stage and likes to practice perfecting her modeling skills. Aside from competing in pageants, she was a model at the National Pageant Convention. She has also been featured in local magazine publications, most recently modeling holiday attire at a real Kentucky castle.
Residing in the Horse Capital of the World has its perks! Keeneland, a legendary horse racing track, is right down the street from her home and she loves to go to the horse races every spring and fall. While her family doesn’t own horses, her home backs up to a horse farm and there are always horses in her backyard!
She chose to compete at IJM because of the opportunities it provides, the friendships it fosters, and she and her family love traveling. Getting to meet girls from across the world who enjoy doing similar things as herself made for one of the best weeks of her life! She’s honored to have been chosen as your 2018 International Junior Miss Jr. Princess!
