“She decided to compete at IJM because of the cultural diversity it provides from girls all over the world, the friendships that are produced for many years to come, and the love that the organization has for each one of the titleholders.”

Brooklyn Franklin, from Lees Summit Missouri, is the daughter of Remy and Jovan Franklin.  Brooklyn starting modeling at the age of five and appeared in her first local television commercial in the spring of 2017.  If she is not busy modeling you can also catch her riding horses once a week at a local stable nearby.  Her favorite subject in school is art in which she decided to pursue the talent competition at Internationals and was rewarded 3rd runner up with her 90 second speed painting performance of the American Flag to the sounds of, “Party in the USA,” by Miley Cyrus.

At the early age of 9 months Brooklyn decided she would skip crawling and went straight to walking which is one of the reasons she enjoys the stage.  Brooklyn has appeared in Kansas City Fashion week in 2018 and was selected to walk again for local designers this year.

One of her favorite past times is also reading.  Being at the top of her kindergarten class allowed her to read more challenging books and she finished, “Little House on the Prairie” in just one week.  Chapter books fascinate her because it allows her to explain the stories in more detail to her family and friends.

Being from the Show Me State allowed her to show many elements of what a Midwest girl is made of in which pageantry came at the top of the list. She decided to compete at IJM because of the cultural diversity it provides from girls all over the world, the friendships that are produced for many years to come, and the love that the organization has for each one of the titleholders.  Brooklyn is overjoyed to be your 2019 International Junior Miss Jr. Princess and looks forward to showing the world her adventures along the way!
